Greivance Procedures
The grievance procedure is a clarification mechanism designed to maintain the terms and conditions of our contract and/or Board policy. Members are encouraged to contact his/her building representative or the MEA Office anytime they feel the contract is violated or subject to violation. This helps the keep us unified and strong in bargaining, as well as in our relationships with the District.
Link to Mead Administration
The President meets regularly with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents to discuss the issues affecting our schools, the District, and the membership. The Executive Board also represents members and their concerns at monthly Labor Management meetings. The President or the President’s designee however, is the only people who have authority to speak officially for the Association.
