    MEA Scholarship Application

      The application deadline is January 12, 2011. Please read the eligibility requirements closely. Please contact Toby Doolittle if you have any questions/concerns regarding the application process.

      TO BE ELIGIBLE

      1. Student must be a member of the High School graduating class of 2010 from an accredited high school. (any accredited High School is acceptable...not solely Mead schools.)

      2. Student must be enrolled in an accredited post secondary vocational/technical training program OR student must be enrolled in an accredited post secondary academic institution at the time of the scholarship winner being announced (January 28, 2011).

      3. Student must be a child or dependent of a current MEA member.

      4. Completion, in its entirety, of the scholarship application includes the following:

      a. Application
      b. Two letters of recommendation
      c. Statement of career plan
      d. Copy of official transcript (high school only)

      5. Prior to the awarding of the scholarship, the winning student(s) must provide documentation of continuing enrollment in their particular accredited training program/academic institution. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the award.
